City of Graz: biodiesel-fuelled public buses, Austria

With the slogan “from the frying pan into the tank”, the "Ökodrive" (i.e. Ecodrive) programme was born in 1999. “Ökodrive” provides a sustainable cycle turning waste vegetable oil from harmful waste into a valuable raw material, resulting in biodiesel, which is used as a renewable, low-emission fuel for the operation of buses in the public transport fleet in Graz.

Bioethanol plant for gasohol project by Medco Energi – one solution for the fast growing fuel need in the transportation sector in Indonesia
