The African Sustainable Fuels Centre (ASFC) aimed to explore the commercialisation of biodiesel in Cape Town, South Africa. The project's goal was to kick-start demand for biodiesel to the point where free market economics can take over. This process started by developing confidence in the City of Cape Town to use a biodiesel blend in its municipal fleet.
