Low-cost biodigesters are more than biogas producers – they hold tremendous untapped potential for wastewater treatment. Jaime Martí Herrero reflects on a project that took him from a metropolitan slaughterhouse in Ecuador to Indigenous communities in the Amazon.
Findings from the 9th Annual RedBioLAC Conference
RedBioLAC is a network of institutions involved in the applied research and advocacy of biodigesters for the treatment and management of organic waste, as a strategy for improving the wellbeing of the Latin American and Caribbean people. Their annual opportunity to meet and interact intensively with experts from across the region is a central component for sustaining the impetus of the knowledge sharing process.
All the findings and conference information, including presentations, workshop materials and videos, are now available on RedBioLAC webpage.
