LIGHTING - New brochure online
In the most recently published brochure of the WISIONS Technology Radar “Lighting – Energy Efficient Lighting for Sustainable Development“, we highlighted key aspects of lighting systems for workplaces, homes and outdoor spaces.
Lighting plays a key role in our daily lives as well as in commerce and industry worldwide. Supplying ‘artificial’ light consumes energy and current lighting solutions present crucial challenges for both local and global sustainable development.
The seven case studies in the new brochure illustrate the practical implementation of sound solutions. They range from simple self-made LED home lighting systems in Tanzania to smart lighting solutions for a University in Mexico. The illustrated projects were supported under the WISIONS SEPS programme.
