Results of the Practice-to-Policy Dialogue on Micro Hydro Energy for Myanmar
The event entitled “Micro Hydro and Decentralised Renewable Energy for Myanmar: Practice-to-Policy Dialogue, Applying Lessons from Indonesia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka”, was successfully held in Myanmar from 24th – 28th November 2014.
Lessons learned from practical experiences were offered by policy and practitioner experts from Indonesia, Nepal and SEvent Videori Lanka to a wide and interested audience. More than 70 participants attended, ranging from representatives from the Myanmar national and regional governments, to members of the civil society, science and media sectors.

The event is part of the SEPS exchange activitivity Micro Hydro for Myanmar: Practice-to-Policy Dialogue with Indonesia, Nepal, and Sri Lanka (SEPS 9)and was hosted by the Renewable Energy Association of Myanmar (REAM) and the Hydro Empowerment Network.
