Mini/Micro-Hydropower Library

The Hydro Empowerment Network (HPNET), together with Energypedia, announced the launch of its Mini/Micro-Hydropower Library. This was created after members of HPNET identified the need for a participatory knowledge portal for sharing information on relevant themes.

The library features the following:

  • Publications on mini/micro-hydropower on topics ranging from technology and policy to people and environment for South and Southeast Asian countries
  • An updated list of consultants, developers, funding agencies, policy experts, programmes, and suppliers working in the mini/micro hydropower sector
  • A searchable library with a world map displaying the results
  • An interactive library where the users can also upload publications
