RedBioLAC: Successful Annual Conference in Costa Rica

Last November saw the successful and productive 8th annual conference of the RedBioLAC network, which took place at the IICA headquarters in San José, Costa Rica. The event was organised in cooperation with Asobiogás and was once again supported by WISIONS.

The conference format entailed not only presentations and discussions among network members on the latest developments in the field of biogas, but also two two-day training courses on basic and industrial biogas technologies, field visits and a biogas fair.

Every year RedBioLAC’s event attracts more than 100 international visitors and participants and serves as a platform for promoting biogas technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

All the conference and workshop materials are available online at REdBioLAC’s website (in Spanish) here.

A video summary of this year’s conference is available on RedBioLAC’s Facebook page here, as well as a variety of photographs from the event here.
