We invited more than 20 students and young researchers from different disciplines to Kathmandu, Nepal and took a deep dive into the methods and concepts of transdisciplinary research. Here, participants share their experinces.
The aim of the conference is to bring together people and organisations from around the world who work with small wind turbines in the field of rural electrification.
During the conference a variety of presentations will be made, examining the issues of knowledge transfer, finance, market assessment, technical advances and further relevant aspects. The lectures will be complemented by roundtable discussions, work group meetings and workshops with experts from the WindEmpowerment network. In addition, there will be two field trips to the Rafina and the Marathonas small wind turbine sites.
