SEPS CALL: Energising Development Through Knowledge Exchange

With its ‘SEPS Knowledge Exchange’ scheme, WISIONS facilitates the mobilisation of knowledge and expertise among energy practitioners and other stakeholders in the field of sustainable energy technologies in the ‘Global South’. The call for proposals is now open. Deadline for submission of applications is 17th October 2016, 16:00 (CET).

New Call for SEPS Knowledge Exchange proposals 2016 aiming to mobilise knowledge and expertise for decentralised renewable energy solutions.

This new call for proposals addresses both focus regions of WISIONS – Latin America and the Caribbean, and South/South East Asia. Proposals for SEPS Knowledge Exchange 2016 – LAC & SE/S Asia should allow for interaction between practitioners with significant experience in the implementation of decentralised renewable energy solutions in the target region(s).

SEPS Knowledge Exchange activities should relate to one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Capacity-building
  • South-South mutual learning
  • Practice-to-policy exchange
  • Advocacy and awareness-raising activities
  • Other

The submitted SEPS Knowledge Exchange proposals should meet a set of criteria (see full list of criteria and application procedure here). Only those proposals that follow the proposed application procedure will be considered in the validation process.
