WISIONS Team Visiting SEPS Project in Thailand

The WISIONS team will visit of one of our recent SEPS projects at the Asian Institute of Technology near Bangkok, Thailand this Friday, 24 November 2017.

During the coming weeks, our team will participate in a ‘Travelling Conferences’ programme in South East Asia and on this occasion visit the Campus of the Asian Institute of Technology near Bangkok, Thailand, where one of our recent SEPS project has been successfully concluded: Renewable Energy Technologies for Integrated Community Farming Systems.

This project aimed to develop a model of an ‘Integrated Community Farming System’ on the AIT Campus utilising renewable energy technologies to ensure the security of food, nutrition and energy.

This project aligns with AIT’s initiative of a “sustainability living laboratory” to showcase sustainability principles and measures to the AIT community and visitors. To disseminate the model and provide information about how to replicate it, AIT aims to conduct a workshop for regional leaders and their communities. Further information can be retrieved from the project’s website.
